HPAM gel is the most widely used and most effective chemical water shutoff agent at home and abroad. Phenol/formaldehyde is commonly used for crosslinking agent of HPAM gel. However, its high toxicity, especially the carcinogenic, restricts its application severely in the oilfield. In this paper,a lowtoxicity crosslinking agent was synthesized firstly, and then the geation kinetic of HPAM crosslinking with the composite crosslinker was studied,in which THMBPA was the main crosslinking agent and polyethylene polyamine TET as assisting crosslinking agent. The influence of temperature, initial pH,composite crosslinker ratio and salt concentration on the gealtion time and long term stability were investgated. Experimental results showed that the gelation time of the gel system can be arbitrarily adjusted at the range of 10~120 h at 120 ℃,and gel could remain stable for 90 days at 120 ℃ and 100 days at 120 ℃. Long sand packed tube plugging experiments showed that the water shutoff agent had good sealing ability and plugging rate could reach 90.6%.

Chemical engineering software Aspen Hysys is used to simulate the serialparallel large scale methanol synthesis process in the industry operation and a compared couple process is proposed at the same time. The effect of two process styles on the crude methanol flowrate, methanol mole fraction, mass flowrate of recycle gas and energy consumption are compared according to the simulation results. The characters of a more compact equipment, a less equipment investment and a higher operation cost are summarizes from the compared results, which could provide a direction of large scale methanol synthesis process design.

Process simulation software Aspen HYSYS was used to establish British DAVY seriesparallel methanol synthesis upon steady state process in this study. A concept of equilibrium temperature interval was used to show the distance to equilibrium state in the model of equilibrium reactor. According to the contrast results of influence of exhausted gas positions on inlet gas and outlet gas mole fraction of methanol syntheses reactors, mass flow of crude methanol, mass fraction of crude methanol and recycle gas mass flow, different exhausted gas positions were proposed. Mass flow of recycle gas could be reduced at a lower value with this new exhausted gas position, which could widen the operation flexibility of methanol synthesis process. It could play a direct role in the actual production as well as design of following new process.
